Each client’s timeline is unique to their personalized treatment plan and individual goals. However, there are certain guidelines that can help you gauge how long you’ll remain in one of our programs. In general, highly intensive programs like medical detox tend to be the shortest, while more flexible options can last longer.
Medical detox involves stabilization and supportive care through the most physically challenging part of your recovery. This phase usually lasts about 10 days. Most clients transition into our residential care after detox, which includes around 20 to 30 days of on-site therapy and psychiatric treatment with 24/7 supervision.
When you complete your residential stay and you’re ready to integrate into your new sober life, you can stay in one of our outpatient programs for up to a month or longer, as needed.
When determining your treatment timeline, your medical and clinical team will work together to decide the level of care you need, taking your personal preferences into account. If you need help completing FMLA or Short-Term Disability forms, we can help with that, too.
