While addiction recovery is hard work, it doesn’t have to be painful or uncomfortable. At Boca Recovery Center in Huntington, therapeutic work is balanced with relaxation and recreation in this picturesque setting. And it's highly accessible too, located just 30 minutes from Fort Wayne International Airport and part of the Fort Wayne metropolitan area.
Clients enjoy individualized treatment at Boca Recovery Center. The goal is to fortify their recovery, so they are in the best position to resist relapse once treatment is complete.
At our drug rehab center, we offer treatment that is tailored to meet your individual needs. This can include medication-assisted treatment (MAT) and treatment for co-occurring disorders, such as depression and anxiety. Our expert staff members create a customized treatment program that works best for your unique circumstances and history.
The focus here is on inpatient treatment, allowing clients to fully immerse themselves in addiction recovery, as they reside in a supportive, sober environment. With luxury accommodations, clients feel at home in this safe, positive living situation.
The medical detox program at Boca Recovery Center provides a safe and supervised environment for clients as they work to get drugs or alcohol out of their systems. We use a combination of medications and therapy to keep clients as comfortable as possible while they experience withdrawal symptoms.
We don’t recommend rapid detoxes or quitting cold turkey, as these methods can be ineffective, uncomfortable, and even dangerous. Instead, at Boca Recovery Center, you’ll find a safety- and health-focused approach to withdrawal management. Our expert therapists and clinicians will be by your side throughout every step of your medical detox and tailor treatment to your needs.
Clients have the lowest relapse risk with inpatient rehab treatment, which involves living at the facility for the duration of treatment. In this intensive environment, clients fully focus on addiction recovery, and they aren’t tempted with the same triggers they’ll face in the outside world. This is particularly important during the early stages of recovery when people are most vulnerable.
Certain addictions, such as opioid use disorder or alcohol use disorder, benefit from medication-assisted treatment (MAT). FDA-approved medications, such as Suboxone, methadone, and naltrexone, are used to mitigate withdrawal symptoms and cravings, helping people to better resist relapse in recovery.
At Boca Recovery Center in Huntington, we offer MAT for our clients. If it is right for your situation, your medications will be monitored by staff members, and you’ll be properly supported.
This therapy, commonly known as CBT, is an evidence-based therapy for addiction treatment. It involves identifying how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors directly influence your substance abuse or other maladaptive behaviors in your life. When you begin to change your thoughts, this results in changed behaviors.
In addition to addiction treatment, CBT is used to treat a wide variety of mental health issues, such as anxiety and mood disorders.
There is a lot of overlap between eating disorders and substance abuse. If you have both an eating disorder and a substance use disorder, it’s important to address both issues simultaneously in therapy.
At Boca Recovery Center in Huntington, we offer treatment for co-occurring disorders. In therapy, you’ll begin to uncover how your eating disorder and substance abuse are interconnected, and you’ll develop strategies to effectively manage both.
Personalized treatment is the backbone of our care here at Boca Recovery Center. This means we offer specialized programming to meet the needs of each client.
Our specialized programs include tailored rehab approaches, faith-based treatment services, and family therapy. If you are unsure of what you need in recovery, talk to us. We can develop a treatment program that addresses all your needs and accomplishes your goals.
A lot of addiction treatment work takes place in group therapy sessions. Every session is led by a mental health and addiction treatment professional, and they employ a variety of approaches, depending on the needs of the group.
Group therapy commonly involves CBT approaches, the use of dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed therapeutic approaches. Clients reflect on their own thought and behavior patterns, their history of trauma, and the place emotions have had in their life. In group sessions, they learn to better process feelings, identify problematic patterns, and develop coping mechanisms to deal with substance abuse triggers.
Outpatient rehab is the least intensive and most flexible treatment option, involving a few hours of counseling per week. People in an outpatient program live at home or in a sober living facility while attending addiction care. This type of program is commonly used as step-down care after completing an inpatient or partial hospitalization program.
