What to Bring to Rehab?
We want you to feel prepared when you check in for your treatment stay. Before you arrive, double-check our list of items that are appropriate to bring to rehab and those that you should avoid.

The lists below can provide you with some guidance while packing for treatment. However, these lists may vary depending on which facility you plan to attend. Make sure you ask the treatment center directly for a more detailed list.

What to Bring
Comfortable Clothes
Appropriate, non-revealing clothing with no drug/alcohol/sexual themes such as t-shirts, sweatshirts, sweatpants, or jeans, etc. Leisure and athletic wear is common.
Regardless of the length of your stay, a week of clothing should suffice as we provide laundry services.
Comfortable Shoes
Sneakers, Flip Flops, and Slippers - enough to be comfortable and have something to exercise in.
Toiletries
toothbrush / toothpaste, shampoo / conditioner, body wash, hair products, deodorant, shaving tools, blow dryers, etc.
Please note: any products containing alcohol will be locked up for the safety of the community
Prescriptions in Original Bottles
Prescription medications in original bottles with labels. Our on-site pharmacy can order medications for you but this may take a few days. We recommend bringing all prescription medications you are currently taking. These must be in the original bottles with labels. If you have any drugs you wish to dispose safely, we will be happy to do this for you.
Photo ID & Insurance Cards
Your insurance card may include pharmacy coverage or you may have a separate pharmacy card. We recommend bringing both to our facility when you enter rehab.
Cigarettes & Nicotine Products
All nicotine products must be sealed when they’re brought into our facilities. Please bring sufficient supplies. We do not sell nicotine products on-site.
Names & Phone Numbers
We recommend bringing a list of names and phone numbers of family and friends. If you’re dealing with legal issues, please also bring the names and phone numbers of your legal counsel.
Photos & Books
You can carry pictures of loved ones as well as books and other reading material. We do not permit reading material that glorifies or promotes drug or alcohol use. Pornographic materials are prohibited in our rehab center.
What Not to Bring
At Boca Recovery Center, we prioritize the well-being of our patients, their visitors, and our staff members. Below you will find a list of items that are strictly prohibited at our facilities.

- Weapons
- Prescriptions without the original bottle
- Pets
- Tablets & laptops
- Gaming consoles
- Mouthwash (unless alcohol free)
- Alcohol
- Illicit drugs
- Marijuana
- Aerosol cans
- Perfumes or Cologne
- Outside Food or Drink
