At Boca Recovery Center in Indiana, our medical detox program offers a safe and comfortable place for clients to go through supervised drug or alcohol withdrawal. We use medicine and therapy to reduce withdrawal symptoms and cravings and prevent or address medical complications that arise during the process.

We don’t recommend quitting cold turkey or using a rapid detox method, because these strategies can not only be ineffective but also unsafe. Instead, at Boca Recovery Center, we focus on keeping you safe and healthy as you start your sober journey. Our skilled therapists and doctors will support you through every part of your medical detox and make sure the treatment fits your needs.

Inpatient addiction treatment at Boca Recovery Center Indiana provides a highly structured and intensive experience in which you receive 24-hour treatment and support. For example, you may reside in our treatment center in Huntington, which is just 30 minutes from Fort Wayne International Airport, and receive a high level of care in a substance-free environment—away from daily stressors and drug-using triggers.

At Boca Recovery Center, we offer medication-assisted treatment (MAT), which involves both addiction treatment medications and counseling to help people recover from alcohol use disorder or opioid use disorder. These medications are approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and have proven effective in alleviating withdrawal symptoms and cravings and reducing the risk of relapse. Moreover, they’re safe to take for an extended period of time; some clients take these medications for months or even years.

Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) is an evidence-based therapy used to treat substance addictions and co-occurring mental health disorders. It involves analyzing the connection between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors in order to create positive change and stop misusing substances. Clients also learn adaptive coping skills to use when experiencing triggers or negative thoughts and emotions.

Many people with substance use disorders also struggle with other psychiatric conditions like eating disorders. This is called co-occurring disorders or dual diagnosis and requires comprehensive and integrated care that fully addresses each condition. At Boca Recovery Center Indiana, we offer high-quality dual diagnosis care for addiction and eating disorders like anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, and binge eating disorder.

Everyone is affected by addiction differently; as such, treatment requires an individualized approach that considers the client’s unique needs, history, and goals.

We offer specialized and tailored rehab services based on various factors. For example, some people may need dual diagnosis treatment to overcome more than one condition. Others may want faith-based treatment that integrates their spiritual beliefs or treatment programming that prioritizes family involvement.

No matter your needs, we are here to help. We tailor each treatment plan, based on our assessment, and we continue to adjust it as needed based on progress and insights.

Group therapy involves bringing together several clients who are struggling with addiction to participate in counseling sessions facilitated by a therapist. Group therapy offers a supportive and non-judgmental environment where members can share their thoughts, feelings, and experiences related to addiction while receiving feedback and encouragement from their peers.

Group counseling sessions may follow different formats or address various subjects, such as triggers, cravings, coping skills, relapse prevention, and emotional regulation. Some sessions may involve structured discussions while others may include psychoeducation or role-playing exercises.

Groups may use different therapeutic approaches as well, such as CBT groups, dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) groups, or trauma-informed therapy groups.

At our Indiana treatment facility, you'll receive care from some of the most knowledgeable experts in addiction recovery. Our team creates a warm, compassionate, and inclusive atmosphere where you can make real progress in your recovery journey and feel supported every step of the way.

Outpatient addiction treatment involves living at home or in a sober living facility while attending scheduled therapy and counseling sessions during the day. This is a more flexible option for individuals who need to continue caregiving responsibilities or attend work while recovering from a substance use disorder. While outpatient care may be someone’s first and only treatment level, others may use it as a form of step-down care after they’ve completed inpatient rehab.

What to Expect

Every treatment center is different, which is why it’s so important to know what to expect when you arrive at Boca Recovery Center. Our programs allow clients to reside in comfortable, apartment-style facilities while attending group and individual counseling six days a week.

Our treatment approach includes state-of-the-art addiction treatment methods, such as evidence-based therapies like CBT, MAT, DBT, group counseling, and family therapy. Our individualized treatment programming ensures everyone gets the best treatment for their particular addiction and needs. In addition to your treatment programming, you can also benefit from the supportive, sober community you’ll meet, fostering new friendships and connections that can help you maintain sobriety. As you progress through your recovery program, you’ll focus on finding employment and preparing to transition back into everyday life. The treatment team will collaborate with you on an aftercare plan that involves ongoing support, such as 12-step meetings, non-12-step meetings, individual therapy, sober living, and more.

The admissions process is quick and easy. First, you participate in a 15-minute screening call where you’ll discuss your addiction, symptoms, severity, and substance misuse history. The assessor will use this information to determine what level of care is most appropriate for you. After that, we’ll work with you to schedule your arrival date, arrange transportation if needed, and answer questions about the process.

During inpatient treatment, you’ll live in our apartment-style residencies and have access to 24/7 care and support, providing you with intensive treatment and individualized attention; however, you’ll still have the freedom to unwind on your own in the evenings. Many people take this time to journal, work on skills they are learning in therapy, meet with peers, or engage in a therapeutic activity.

At Boca Recovery Center Indiana, you’ll stay in private, comfortable rooms and have access to a variety of outdoor and indoor recreational facilities and activities. These amenities can help enrich your treatment experience, providing you with joy, relaxation, and healing through recreation.
