FAQs
Here are answers to some of the most common questions we receive from clients and their families about admissions, treatment, and what to expect at Boca Recovery Center.
Do you take insurance? What will I pay out of pocket?
Yes. We accept private insurance and work with most major providers. Out-of-pocket costs will vary based on your specific plan, your provider, and your specific treatment needs. Our admissions team can help you understand your policy details, verify your benefits, and explain any additional costs you may incur throughout your treatment.
We accept private pay and funds from a Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA) to cover out-of-pocket costs. If you need help covering those costs, we offer flexible payment plans and financial assistance scholarships to make your care as affordable as possible.
Use the form on this page to verify if we can take your insurance in 5 minutes or less.
How long does the program last?
Program timelines at our Pompano Beach rehab facility are determined by medical, clinical, and personal factors. Medical detox lasts around 10 days, residential care lasts between 20 and 30 days, and outpatient programs can go on for much longer.
In general, the most intensive programs tend to be the shortest. This is because those services include concentrated levels of care and 24/7 supervision. Once you progress from detox to residential treatment, you’ll still be closely monitored by our medical and clinical teams, but your personalized care plan will be more flexible. Outpatient programs are the longest and most adaptable, giving you time and space to return to a life in recovery.
Your care team will help you complete any forms related to your time in treatment, including FMLA and Short-Term Disability documents.

What can I bring and not bring to rehab?
Bring one week of comfortable clothes, alcohol-free toiletries, and any prescribed medications you’re currently taking in their original, labeled pharmacy bottles. We’ll also need a photo ID, your insurance cards, and a copy of your contacts. Items to keep at home include weapons, alcohol, illicit drugs, gaming consoles, and unsealed supplements.
We take care of laundry on-site, so one week’s worth of clothes will last your full stay. Note that we do allow sealed nicotine products, including vapes and cigarettes, but we do not sell them.
If you need your phone or laptop, those devices will become accessible after you complete the initial phase of your treatment, which usually takes around 48 to 72 hours. At that time, we’ll restore access in an organized and supervised manner.
