Cathy initiated the development and implementation of a countywide training program for substance abuse clinicians and has worked with the community in the development and implementation of a substance abuse system of care for youth involved with the Department of Juvenile Justice. She led the development and implementation of the TANF Intervention Program, providing substance abuse and mental health assessment and treatment services at eight homeless shelters in Palm Beach County; as well as the development and implementation of the District Nine Substance Abuse and Mental Health Consumer Advisory Board.
Over the past 10 years, Ms. Claud has held the position of CEO for several behavioral health organizations, and most recently has been working as a consultant for numerous prominent substance use disorder and mental health facilities. In August 2023, Ms. Claud graciously accepted the position of Chief Administrative Officer for Boca Recovery Center, where she leads the charge in ensuring the highest standard of treatment and care for our clients across all of our facilities. When Cathy is not working tirelessly at her computer, she can be found enjoying her time with her family. She has been married to her husband David for 44 years, and they have one son, Justin, who is the Chief Legal Council for Boca Recovery Center.
