Shelby grew up in Sarasota, Florida, and initially moved to South Florida for addiction treatment in 2014. In 2016, Shelby began working in the field of addiction, holding various positions including Administrative Assistant, Behavioral Health Tech, and Group Facilitator.
Shelby joined the team at Boca Recovery in October 2020, working in the Admissions Department. Within a short time, Shelby was promoted to Admissions Coordinator, Assistant Director of Admissions, and most recently she was promoted to Director of Admissions. In addition to being a vital member of our Admissions team, Shelby is also currently completing a degree in Communications at Florida Atlantic University.
In her spare time, Shelby is an active member of the South Florida recovery community, and she also enjoys spending time at home with her son and pursuing her interest in personal growth and development.
