Christopher Ferry

Chief Executive Officer

Christopher Ferry is an experienced leader in behavioral healthcare, having owned and operated several facilities before founding Boca Recovery Center in 2016. He has overseen the operation and growth of Boca Recovery Center, expanding it from a singular treatment facility into a nationwide provider. Christopher is a Certified National Master Interventionist, receiving his certification from the National Association of Drug & Alcohol Interventionists. Additionally, he embarked on his journey to sobriety on 2/21/13. Christopher has also extensively studied marketing and business development, remaining hands-on with all marketing efforts.

Justin Claud

Chief Legal Officer

Justin is Boca Recovery Centers's Chief Legal Officer and specializes in behavioral healthcare regulation and compliance. Justin has worked extensively in matters involving state and federal regulation of mental health and substance abuse facilities, including, but not limited to, consulting start-up and established businesses, handling licensure and accreditation applications, drafting policy and procedure manuals, representing clients at audits, and counseling clients with regards to regulatory compliance matters. Justin's valuable experience includes his aggressively advocating for clients in a wide array of contracts. Justin was born and raised in Palm Beach County, Florida. He obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Legal Studies from the University of Central Florida in 2006 and a Juris Doctor from Florida Coastal School of Law in 2009. Justin is licensed to practice in all state courts in Florida, as well as the federal courts in the Southern District of Florida. When not working, Justin enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf as much as possible and rooting for the University of Central Florida’s athletics programs.

Joseph Toland

Chief Operations Officer

Joe grew up in New Jersey which is where he originally tried to get help for his addiction, finally coming to Florida he was able to get sober. He has worked in the field of addiction since 2013 as a licensed interventionist and assisting in the admissions process. Being in recovery himself, Joe can relate to and aid others in the recovery process. He helps clients with the entire admissions process including tours of our facilities for clients and family members, transportation arrangements, and getting clients settled once they arrive. Joe understands the days leading up to admitting into a facility can be stressful and aims to make the process as comfortable as possible for clients and their loved ones.

Dr. Alison Tarlow

Chief Clinical Officer

Dr. Alison Tarlow is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in the states of Florida, New Jersey, Indiana, and Pennsylvania. She is also a Certified Addictions Professional, Internationally Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (ICADC), Certified Clinical Supervisor, Certified Recovery Residence Administrator, and Florida Supreme Court Certified Family Mediator. Dr. Tarlow began her education in South Florida, completing her undergraduate and graduate degrees in Psychology. She began her career working at The Renfrew Center, an eating disorders and mental health facility in Coconut Creek, Florida, and has worked in private practice for over 20 years. For the past 10 years, Dr. Tarlow’s clinical work has focused on the treatment of substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. In 2014, she became Clinical Director of a treatment program in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.  She then transitioned to Boca Recovery Center in January 2018, in the role of Clinical Director, where she has been involved in the start-up of their Detoxification and Residential treatment facilities in South Florida, New Jersey, and most recently, Bloomington, Indiana. In August 2020, Dr. Tarlow was honored to accept the position of Chief Clinical Officer for Boca Recovery Center.  Dr. Tarlow enjoys every aspect of her clinical role, which includes oversight and supervision of the clinical teams at each of our three locations, maintaining the highest standards for client treatment and care, and using social media platforms to provide education and insight into the many issues that present with substance use disorders. 

Alex Cuevas

Chief Financial Officer

Alex Cuevas was born in Dearborn, MI and raised in Youngstown, OH. He graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Finance from the University of Toledo (Ohio) in 2010 and shortly after he relocated to Pompano Beach, FL. Alex began working in the substance abuse/treatment industry as a Behavioral Health Tech in 2012 while searching for opportunities in Finance. He managed to network and build relationships in the industry and worked as Receptionist, HR Supervisor, and Case Manager, before taking a position as Financial Administrator in 2014. Since that time, Alex has learned the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and developed extensive experience in both the business and financial aspects of the treatment industry. Alex remained heavily involved with, and assisted in, multiple detox/treatment startups across the country. He specializes in; executing and implementing operations, payroll, business insurance and employee benefits, lease and business agreements among other legal documents. With four years of business and finance experience under his belt, Alex feels fortunate to have been given the role of Director of Finance with Boca Recovery Center in 2018. In taking this position, Alex has been reunited with some colleagues that he worked with when first starting out in the industry. Most recently, after two successful years with the company, Alex was promoted to Chief Financial Officer where he continues to assist in current and new business ventures as the company continues to grow.

Stephanie Morris

Chief Nursing Officer

Stephanie is originally from  Boca Raton, FL where she graduated from Broward College and City College to pursue her passion as a registered nurse. Stephanie has been a director of nursing for the last 6 years in the mental health and substance abuse field. Prior to that she was a registered nurse at Baptist Health Bethesda Hospital where she began building her nursing foundation.  Stephanie has opened and maintained several dual diagnosis facilities in the South Florida area and understands the unique dynamic between the medical and administrative duties as the Chief Nursing Officer. Some of these duties she excels in are creating and implementing systems and procedures to comply with the most up-to-date federal and state compliance. Stephanie has demonstrated expertise in overall operations with the medical and nursing components of treatment in both our Florida and New Jersey locations. Stephanie's approach in providing nursing care continues to be that no matter what the client is here for, WE are here to help. Her goal as Chief Nursing Officer with Boca Recovery Center is to provide a collaborative comprehensive approach to client-centered care for the best client outcomes. 

Samantha Gorson

Director of Human Resources

Samantha joined Boca Recovery Center in May 2021 in the role of Director of Human Resources and oversees the staffing of our facilities at all our locations across the United States. She is currently in the process of completing her undergraduate degree in Social Work at Florida Atlantic University and is excited to continue her education and training in the field of Human Resources.  Samantha grew up in the South Florida area and has many years of personal experience in recovery. She has held positions of leadership within the 12-step community and is a pillar of hope and inspiration for many who seek long-term sobriety. Samantha is a tremendous asset to our organization as we seek to build our team, ensuring we are staffed with the highest quality employees.

Teague Dooley

Finance Specialist

Teague was born and raised in Southern New Jersey. After moving to Florida 10 years ago, he was introduced into the world of recovery. He has worked at a variety of different treatment centers holding positions from Behavioral Health Technician to Admissions. In those roles, he saw a need for a liaison to be able to provide a clear, concise explanation to clients and their loved ones about the intricacies of health insurance. As Director of Client Accounts at Boca Recovery Center, Teague is the front line to answer any and all questions potential and current clients may have about their insurance coverage, as well as their families. He provides answers and compliance in an ever-changing atmosphere of the substance abuse healthcare industry. In his free time, Teague enjoys playing the guitar, tinkering on his Jeep and spearfishing.

Shelby Cullison

Assistant Director of Admissions

Shelby grew up in Sarasota, Florida, and initially moved to South Florida for addiction treatment in 2014. In 2016, Shelby began working in the field of addiction, holding various positions including Administrative Assistant, Behavioral Health Tech, and Group Facilitator. Shelby joined the team at Boca Recovery in October 2020, working in the Admissions Department. Within a short time, Shelby was promoted to Admissions Coordinator, Assistant Director of Admissions, and most recently she was promoted to Director of Admissions. In addition to being a vital member of our Admissions team, Shelby is also currently completing a degree in Communications at Florida Atlantic University. In her spare time, Shelby is an active member of the South Florida recovery community, and she also enjoys spending time at home with her son and pursuing her interest in personal growth and development.

Casey Hiltner

Director of National Outreach

Casey Hiltner was born and raised in Margate, New Jersey, and moved to South Florida after reaching out to his childhood friend, Chris Ferry, for help with his addiction. With Chris’ support and encouragement, Casey found sobriety and remained in South Florida, and soon he began working for Chris as Boca Recovery Center was in its initial stages of development. Now, with several solid years of recovery under his belt, Casey has been working for Boca Recovery Center in their Admissions Department in various positions. For the past 2 years, Casey has taken a leadership role as the Director of Community Outreach, and he is excited to be relocating home to New Jersey, where he will continue in his role of Outreach at our Galloway, New Jersey facility.

Tim Sheets

Director of Admissions

Tim was born in California and moved around the country throughout his childhood as a result of his father’s career in Homeland Security. In 2013, Tim came to South Florida seeking recovery, and since that time he has accrued over 6 years of experience working in substance use disorder treatment admissions. Tim joined the team of Boca Recovery in December 2021 as an admissions representative and was promoted to the position of Call Center Manager in February 2022. Tim is a dedicated team leader who enjoys his spare time on the beaches of South Florida and going to the gym.

Daniel Sipovich

Chief Marketing Officer

Daniel's expertise was in leading campaigns across various pharmaceutical brands, including collaborations with industry leaders such as AstraZeneca, Pfizer, Abbott, and Amgen. He has been instrumental in launching successful campaigns and initiatives. His notable achievements include spearheading the U.S. and Global launch of a rare disease drug, launching creative campaigns for large consumer and healthcare facing pharmaceutical brands, and creatively refreshing existing campaigns. With a strong background in rare diseases, oncology, diabetes, botulinum toxins, and biologics, Daniel has now transitioned into a leadership role, bringing his strategic acumen to the marketing initiatives of Boca Recovery Center.
