Pre-Screening
The pre-screening process involves discussing your treatment and financial needs. The assessor may ask you about any co-occurring psychiatric or medical conditions, which will help determine if you’re a good fit for the program and what type of support you may need.
Build a Treatment Plan
Based on your pre-screening, the admissions team will determine the best Boca Recovery Center facility and plan for you. You’ll review the recommended treatment plan together and discuss treatment goals.
Plan Your Trip
Once you’ve confirmed your treatment plan, you and the admissions counselor will collaborate to plan your travel to the facility. They’ll also provide you with a packing list as well as any other guidance you may need.
Get Started
Once you arrive at the rehab center, it’s time to get started on your recovery journey. You’ll check in, get settled in your room, take a tour of the facility, and meet with your treatment team.

Generally, you’ll want to make sure to bring comfortable clothing and shoes, toiletries, prescriptions in their original bottles, photo ID, insurance cards, a list of names and phone numbers, cigarettes and nicotine products, books, and photos of loved ones.
We encourage family members to be involved in your treatment process, such as through family therapy, but never to the detriment of the patient. We consider family involvement on an individual basis, contingent upon the relationships, patient safety, and more.
The admissions process is usually very quick. Once you call the facility, your pre-screening may take 15-30 minutes. You’ll receive your recommended treatment plan shortly thereafter and then you can discuss travel needs with your navigator. When you actually plan to arrive at the facility and begin rehab may depend on your job, childcare or petcare arrangements, responsibilities, and more.
