Clinical Director Of The Year! – Dr. Alison Tarlow
Our very own Clinical Director, Dr. Alison Tarlow, was nominated and won Clinical Director of the Year yesterday. Dr. Tarlow works long hours every day to ensure that the clients clinical needs are being met through all levels of care. Dr. Tarlow started working in the field of substance 8 years ago, after spending the first 10 years building a private practice specializing with women and men struggling with eating disorders. Dr. Tarlow began consulting for a treatment facility when they identified several patients who had co-morbid diagnoses that significantly impacted their addiction issues.
Dr. Tarlow continues to have a small private practice, but spends most of her work hours exploring evidence-based treatments that will be most beneficial to our clients. Dr. Tarlow also volunteers her time in the community, educating middle and high school students on the dangers of using drugs and alcohol. Dr. Tarlow also works with young people in the community who are interested in attending college and gaining further education.
